Valentine's Day Surprise!! (2-13)

On Valentine's Day, Chris came home with big beautiful bouquets of roses for Ama and me. They were so lovely! Also, he brought home a case of Pelo Ricos for Cook which we forgot to take a picture of. I guess he figured Cook wouldn't want roses. Huh. He was definitely right. It was so thoughtful!!

Bismarck Visit (2-13)

We had a nice, mellow visit with Gma and Gpa and Spencer's family while Cook and Ama stayed with their dad over the weekend. It was a good chance for Rowan to hang out (and take a bath) with Satori and Demira.

Rowan's Toothbrushes (2-13)

Rowan went through this phase where her favorite thing in the world was toothbrushes. She liked to get one in each hand and carry them around and chew on them. We kept giving her toothbrushes of her own to try to keep her from stealing everyone else's, but unfortunately her toothbrush thing coincided exactly with her increased mobility (walking & crawling up and down the stairs) so really there were just slobbery toothbrushes strewn around the house, left in all kinds of weird dirty places. And really, who wants to use a toothbrush after it's been slid down the dirty stair carpet? Needless to say, we went through a  LOT of toothbrushes before the phase ended.

Rowan's Peekaboo Hat - 10 months (2-13)

Here is Rowan playing peekaboo with her little straw hat. It's already almost too small for her in this video, but it doesn't really matter because she never actually WORE the hat, she just liked to play peekaboo with it. She's really good at peekaboo!! Love you, Rowan!
